College of Home Economics Library
Overview
The UP College of Home Economics (CHE) Library was established to meet the information needs of students, faculty members, researchers, alumni, and employees of the college and the university as a whole. Thus, the aim of the CHE Library is to provide support to current and future instructional, research and extension programs of the College. In order to to fulfill this, it is imperative that the Library should maintain an active stance in supporting instructional and research programs through active organization, procurement, and maintenance of library materials available to the users.
Mission
The CHE Library performs a crucial role not only in meeting the need for information of the academe, but most importantly, in the continued progress
of the home economics curriculum.
Objectives
To support the instruction, research and extension program of the college.
To provide resources, facilities and services to the University of the Philippines academic community.
To develop, enrich and maintain library collection in support of the course offerings and programs of the College.
